We are happy to announce our final Player Of The Week award winners for the Spring 2017 Regular Season!
Our Player Of The Week for Week 9 is Colin Urban of Pinball Outreach Project! Colin was three for three in his team’s road victory at Quarterworld against the Quarter Rollers. Colin drew first blood in the opening round of doubles with a win alongside Sara Urban against Mike O’Rourke and Kat DiFonzo on Aerosmith, then racked up two singles wins on Lord Of The Rings and Batman ’66 against Aja Gillingham and Eric Zounes (respectively). This is Colin’s second Player Of The Week award and first this season, as well as POP’s first Player Of The Week award of the season.
Our final Player Of The Week of the regular season (Week 10) is Mathew Peterson of Tiger Balls! Mathew went three for three in his team’s win over Clinton Street Pub FC at CSP. His first victory came in the first round on Fish Tales with Jason Burton against Brenna Bechtold and Vince Epker. He returned for his sole win in singles in the second round against Jeff Lee on Medieval Madness, then came back to Medieval Madness in the final round to win the final points for his team with the help of Stefan Novak against Brenna Bechtold and Derek Miazga. This is Mathew’s first Player Of The Week award and the second Player Of The Week award for Tiger Balls thus far this season.
Congratulations to Colin and Mathew! Be sure to stay tuned for the League MVP and Best New Player announcements, coming tomorrow!
